CNN is like Debbie Downer-ville
They show the repbulicons on the House floor, then cut away for the Democrats. Then they talk about how terrible the electoral implications are for Democrats. Then they talk about all the deals Democrats had to made to get this done. It's disgusting.

:sarcasm:

The hour I had to endure watching CNN today while I waited through MSNBC's replay of Meet the Press was the longest ever.

...at the moment on the topic of Medicare and how the money taken from it will probably ruin the lives of senior citizens.

15. I know I hate John King, I e-mailed CNN several
times about this. I know they will just ignore them, but hopefully their ratings will continue to suffer.

16.  "Cough". But there WILL be electoral consequences and deals WERE cut.
So I gather some think that ought NOT to be reported? I know at least two of MY states reps were hung out to dry having to vote for this crappy bill. If they were going to have to lose their seats I wish it was for genuine HCR and not a faux bill.

19. That's fine. But I think it might be good to report a couple other things, like
that this is one of the biggest pieces of legislation to pass in 2 generations--even according to David Frum, of all people. And that it might present an important change in the narrative about the Democratic Party. And they might even want to let viewers see Democratic congress critters speak on the floor.

Balance.

18. Since when did John King become a right wing hack.
I've never been a fan but, goodness... Earlier he rattled off six or seven Repug talking points without barely taking a breath. Hannity would have been proud.

20. He's been one for a long time, I read somewhere
that he reads a real conservative rag, sorry can't remember the name but it is very neo con-esque. That's where he gets most of his talking points and redstate since he hired the main guy for his new show. He is a very big fan of John McCain and was very disappointed he lost the election. Not to mention the lap-dog interview with Dick Cheney shortly after Obama took office.
