16. Latest Moore Tweet:
"By only 3 votes! Thank u 2 all my neighbors who joined me making 100's of calls 2day 2 turn our Rep, Bart Stupak, around & vote YES. He did!

See my post further down. The bill is flawed, full of compromises, and what we were getting was only clear TODAY. He did what he could to make it better. Which is what I would expect of him. But I guess trashing him is more fun and wins more friends?

6. Seek help with that severe schizophrenia, Mr. Moore.
Either you support the President or you don't. Can't have it both ways.

20. Sure you can
I love Obama, but I still get mad at him. That's natural. It doesn't mean you don't support him. It means you are human.

I wanted Universal Care. I wanted Public Option. I got something else. I get happy, and I get mad, and I get happy again. I'll probably get mad a few more times too.

What this means is I'm a liberal who didn't get her first or second choice, but am happy at least the third choice was triumphant. Personally, I don't think the PO would've passed this time around.

I'm all set to stop any Republican from getting elected. I want more Dems. We can't let the pugs from ruining the momentum.

11. I'd cut Michael a little slack. He was just verbalizing what we were all thinking

sometimes, in our darkest hours. HE'S ON OUR SIDE, THOUGH!!!

12. He tried to affect the debate and tried to affect the legislation as best he thought.
Edited on Sun Mar-21-10 11:09 PM by Hissyspit
And as is his right to do.

He now he is dealing with the reality of the situation and is asking the President to progress and improve. The nature of this final bill has changed UP TO THE LAST MINUTE, month after month, which means he was trying to affect the legislation up to the last minute. As is his right to do. A lot of unnecessary compromises and sell-outs were made. But in the end this is what we have and we have to deal with it and that's what Michael Moore is doing.

But I guess it's just easier to mock and make fun of the guy who gave us 'SiCKO' and tried to ignite America to health care reform.

love Michael Moore. Even when I think his idealism is at times, counter-productive. ;)

I agree, "more to do!!"
