Since the Public Option is extremely popular with the people (80%+) i wonder if the Democrats will propose a new bill that exclusively deals with the Public Option during the November election...and if re-elected they assure the people that during the next session of Congress that will be the 1st bill to be dealt with. And of course, this is where Anthony Weiner and Alan Grayson would come into play even moreso.

Just an idea.

1. I have suspected something like this all along
And this is one of the reasons they were so afraid of this passing, these very possibilities

3. If they did it would just be an(other) empty promise
Unless the individual mandate gets shot down for constitutional reasons by a court the leadership (and WH) really arent serious about a public option.

If the mandates did get shot down they would probably have to pay for HCR through income taxes, and they might have to include a PO to justify the tax increase.
