question about the pre-existing conditions part
i've been searching all morning, but my google-fu must be weak because i can't find anything stating that the pre-existing conditions clause applies to adults immediately also.

i keep reading threads here where people are stating that it covers adults as well as children immediately. i have yet to find anything that supports that.

does anyone have a link that states this?
all i can find is where it says it doesn't cover adults until 2014.

any help is appreciated.

* Prohibit pre-existing condition exclusions for children in all new plans;

* Provide immediate access to insurance for uninsured Americans who are uninsured because of a pre-existing condition through a temporary high risk pool;

3. ah, i see now.
"Provide immediate access to insurance for uninsured Americans who are uninsured because of a pre-existing condition through a temporary high risk pool;"

and then by 2014 it will just be standard across the board for everyone.

interesting how both sides are spinning that.
thanks for the info!!
