Well I showed up for my first 'Death Panel' committee meeting
Those of you that were early in on the Obama campaign have already been assigned a spot.

I showed up eager for this assignment looking forward to doing my part.

I had a number of proposals for escalating matrixes and cost benefit factoring with a supplemental 'moral contribution' scale that would take into consideration life contributions.

The others wanted waste time electing a 'Panel Chairperson' and introduce themsevles but I wanted us to skip that and start working on a statement of 'Basic Principles and Procedures'.

I thought they were all mesmorized by my 178 frame power point presentation and accompanying musical soundtrack. I was so sure.

In the end they decided to start on scheduling, which I thought was premature.

In any case I am scheduled to 'go under'the anesthesists mask on Wednesday morning 9:00 AM

1. Oh, sure, waltz right into a management position like you were born to it.
Me, I got the 'Gut Removal' committee chair.

I was so qualified, they said, just the person they were looking for, they said, a perfect fit, they said. So many applied they just couldn't choose, they said.

Then I found out that I'm the only committee member.

Guess what I get to do after they harvest the organs from the death panel finalists.

Go on, guess. Give it a shot.

I'll give you a hint, it involves me, still warm human guts, elbow length rubber gloves, and a five-gallon bucket.

3. I hope you didn’t put my dad on the list
I know he is old but I still need him around and besides he has voted Democratic since the second Nixon administration.

4. I wonder, do republican voters REALLY think that death panels are the law now?
Or did they know all along that it was bullshit?

I'm not talking about the teabaggers, just ordinary, every-day republicans. They can't all believe this crap, can they?
