Harry Reid: 'Let's Get This Done'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid sent an email last night to his supporter list, boasting that 20,000 people signed a petition he'd emailed in support of passing reconciliation through the Senate.

He wrote supporters that "later this week we will pass the final reconciliation package in the Senate," and went after Republicans:

Republicans are ramping up their efforts to "kill the bill," but with your help we'll finish the job and make a good bill even better.

When we take up the reconciliation bill on the floor of the Senate this Thursday, Republicans will do everything they can to stop us. They'll make Senators vote, over and over, to try and run out the clock. They'll play procedural gotcha to create enough chaos to gridlock the Senate.

We're united, we're dedicated, and we're not going to let anyone derail reform now. Click here to add your voice to mine in support of real reform through reconciliation today. Nevadans and Americans cannot wait any longer for us to fix our broken health insurance system.
