SOme (many?) Senate rules defy logic and common sense, at least on the surface.
I just turned on, and when I saw that they vote on adjourning I thought it's some weird R trick, but now I see that all the Ds so far are voting AYE and the Rs are NOs

I think the democrats should have told them they were going to be in the senate and then they adjourned to the white house and did their business there. Let republicans debate , obstruct and lie in the senate while the real work is being done in the white house.
