GOP candidate compares health care passage, 9/11

A Republican candidate for Governor of New York this morning reached new heights of rhetorical condemnation of health care legislation, comparing its passage to the attacks of September 11, 2001.

4. Yes, because 30 million more people getting coverage is like people dying
after planes struck a building. Do these idiots have any brains? I am from CT, we lost a lot of people in the Twin Towers that commuted to work in NYC. I also had a friend whose sister was in a coma after one of the planes hit the Pentagon. Believe me, HCR is not like losing a family member.

I hear you Jennicut. So do the 911 Victims Familes, firefighters
and lots of others who are totally disgusted this morning.

Here's a little more in NYDN -

Carl Paladino, Republican millionaire with eye on guv's seat, compares health care bill to 9/11

His campaign manager is Michael Caputo, who, I just read somewhere, has ties to Roger Stone.

9. Don't tell him yet. Let him waste and burn through a few billion of the GOP's money
and his own personal millions, first.

12. Actually Beck beat him by a day or two
Beck also compared HCR to the Hindenberg disaster, the St. Valentines Day Massacre and several other random 'disasters' in history.
