Okay, once more with the Pen issue... |

Using only "Barack Obama" as his signature (no I's to dot or T's to cross), how exactly did the President divide his signature between 22 pens?

It's easy, when you think about it. The B could have been 2 separate pens (one for the line, and at least one, possibly two for the "bubbles").

just sign it normally with ONE pen, then throw that pen in with the 20-plus others and then shake them up -- then they could give them out, and everyone would know that the pen he or she received MAY have been the pen that actually signed the thing. May seem silly, but not anymore silly than what was done
