7. Hasn't she been crazy busy! Russia, Mexico, Israel, Pakistan...
Does she ever rest?

I sure loved that picture of her just beaming with joy as she and Obama had arms outstretched as they neared each other for a hug after health care vote passed Sunday. I know how much it meant to her and I am glad she was there to share the moment.

I was glad Bill played a role too, calling all those House members.

I like happily ever after kind of things.

8. What does Hilary have to do
with HC? She is the secretary of state, futhermore Obama didn't want to envolve the Clintons after they failed to get HC passed in the 90s.

11. check the link.
I was being ironic.

BTW, what the Clintons learned in the '90s was used by Obama et al. to pass it this time, even though this was not as ambitious as the Clinton plan.

10. Well, we seem to be on the verge of a new arms limitation treaty with Russia
she may have had something to do with.

I think she is a first rate SoS, and is really getting things done. I respect her now a lot more than I ever did, and I think she really is gaining a lot from the job.

13. If we don't hear that much about her it means she is doing her job very well.
Props to her. We needed a good SOS after the last person who held the job.

14. The link in my OP is about a new treaty to reduce nuclear weapons.
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 08:02 AM by Deep13
I was being ironic. As someone who grew up during the nuclear arms race, this is a big fucking deal.

15. I know, but I was referring to the fact we don't hear about all sorts
of problems every two weeks from failed diplomacy. That means she is doing her job well.
