6. Except that Desmond Tutu isn't Catholic; he's Anglican.

The Catholic Church might consider this to be something of an obstacle, as are his wife and four children.

Also, even if he were Catholic, the church has never cared what "the people" want. Popes are elected by the Cardinals.

I know very well the Church doesn't care what people want. They are known for having a secret room and deliberating amongst themselves. But it would be entertaining if he was Pope. I can't wait for the screams....Black people are taking over the world.
