OMFG - CNN & John King
Flipped on the tv to his new show.

The lead was.... Cantor had a bullet shot at his election office (LIE) and Schmidt had an obscene caller leave a message wishing she was hurt worse and if he had a chance he would kill Tea Partiers.

No mention of Stupek, no mention of weekend events, and then his girlfriend comes on and says "one Democratic Lawmaker had white powder sent to his office. No name used and the comment leads people to believe that there was ONE.

I don't believe anyone threatened schmidt..isn't she the one who threatens?

"The Richmond cops send over a statement:

The Richmond Police Department is investigating an act of vandalism at the Reagan Building, 25 E. Main St., Richmond, Virginia. A first floor window was struck by a bullet at approximately 1 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23. The building, which has several tenants including an office used by Congressman Eric Cantor, was unoccupied at the time.

A Richmond Police detective was assigned to the case. A preliminary investigation shows that a bullet was fired into the air and struck the window in a downward direction, landing on the floor about a foot from the window. The round struck with enough force to break the windowpane but did not penetrate the window blinds. There was no other damage to the room, which is used occasionally for meetings by the congressman.

The Richmond Police Department is sharing information about the incident with appropriate law enforcement agencies.

At this time there are no suspects.

Cantor said today: “Just recently I have been directly threatened. A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week.”

I said it in another thread: the worthless MSM is just waiting for excuses to tilt anything in the Repubs' favor, even if it's a straight-up lie.

9. The lead by Brian Williams tonight talked about
threats BY DEMOCRATS (said a little more loudly for effect) and republicans...(a little more softly)

I always thought Jersey boy Williams was more of a liberal sort... the way he led this story tonight made it sound like a LOT OF DEMOCRATS were egged on, and only a few republicans...

11. I've always pegged brian williams as a media-
whore who took his marching orders from GE.

The threats are against the Dems and the fucking media is trying to turn this around. Fuck them.

24. Well, he works for GE, so there you go, the company that
can't wait to help us all 'celebrate' the centennary of Ronald Reagan's birth...

well, I did like the SNL sketches with Williams, and I thought he and Jon Stewart got along but I guess I was wrong. Unless I hear Brian Williams denounce. I'm not holding my breath.

12. Then, Gloria Borger came on talking about how John McCain was responsible during the GE
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 06:18 PM by jenmito
by telling a woman in the crowd Obama is not an Arab. Then she said that "Democrats and Republicans should get together and denounce the violence. Maybe it'll take the President to do it." She didn't mention that the Dems. DID come out and denounce it and the Repubs. refused to do a joint announcement with them.

Then John McCain came on and said, after condemning violence, that he doesn't begrudge people their angry, that HE'S angry about the horrible bill that the people can't afford that has sleazy backroom deals like the Corn-husker Kickback... John King didn't challenge him on ANY of that, including the fact that the Corn-husker Kickback was taken out of the bill. :eyes:

16. Classic wasn't it
Questioning where a candidate was born, calling him a terrorist, a Liar, a Socialist, a Communist, a hate filled Christian, members of his party; the N word, derisive homosexual terms, spiting on them and having a candidate from the other party correct one comment gives the Republicans the high ground.

These false reports in the corporate media aren't isolated incidents.

I can't explain why MSNBC is still allowed to tell the truth.

In another segment of the John and Dana lovefest they were talking about Bidens "big fucking deal" comment

Dana stated "the President liked it so much that he was going to memorialize it on a t-shirt, maybe they can make some money off of it."

20. Sorry, folks ...
I caught Ali Vashi or whatever that dimwit's name doing the Dems AND R bad acting quoting the cantor incident, Blitzer did and now King ...

CNN is in the fold, and apparently the broadcast news, and you know Fox in line ...

it is over ...

Cantor gave the MSM their straw man to make it about both sides ... And, because no one from the Ds really stepped up and called the Rs on it, Cantor grabbed the high ground in making it about the Ds politicizing it ...

That is the it, both sides are bad, and Ds now have to answer for trying to make political hay on it ...

Been running into it on another board I post with arsehat Rs, they do the "the Rs get this all time, Cantor had a bullet through his window ... Dems just are politicizing it and frankly causing it to possibly get worse ..."

The marching orders are in ...

Obama has been at 50% or better in the gallup poll all week. Kings numbers are upwards of a full week old. How come I always have more updated information than " The best political team on television?"
