Rep. LaTourette, R, Ohio: The president's summit with Repubs reminded him of Braveheart
The movie where the King gathers the opposition together for a meal and winds up hanging them in the barn.

LaTourette just said this in the House regarding HCR.

3. I knew the Baltimore summit was effective
but I hadn't realized it was that effective for the Pres. LOL.

It must still burn mightily in their little minds.

5. The hanging imagery is interesting to me
Lately, it's been discussed how members of Congress are receiving threatening noose images. Maybe LaTourette is saying that the president does it, too.

4. Rep. Burgess, R, Texas is now angry that the insurance companies are doing well
Oh, he's so pissed off about how the insurance corporations' stock is going up. A Republican on the side of the little guy against the nasty big pharma and insurance giants. What a guy! What a day!

8. Now they're finally done and they're counting the Yeas and Nays
Whew.

"bronzer" :D That always cracks me up. I wonder if when he's getting painted with the stuff they spray on a six-pack.

That would be a good name for a band, actually...

...movements or sounds "that occur intermittently and unpredictably out of a background of normal motor activity", having the appearance of "normal behaviors gone wrong"

11. Huh--and here was me thinking it was a lot like
when the English try to trap Wallace in a shack and instead he does it to them and sets the shack on fire.
