So, Republicans want to take their ball and go home? I say we help them out - I HAVE A PLAN!
President Obama bent over backwards to help bring republicans into the fold on health-care reform, but they didn't want to play ball. Sure, they showed up to the health-care summit hosted by our President, but everyone knew they would only offer suggestions and not do any heavy lifting. They stated up front that nothing President Obama would do or say would change their minds.

After health care was passed, Senator McCain told the American people not to expect Republicans to compromise or expect help from a single Republican for the rest of the year.

Childish. These are the kids on the playground who want to take their ball and go home when they don't get everything they demand.

So, if they really want to take their ball and go home, I say we help them out.

So here's my plan: Look around your house for an old ball. Maybe it's the tennis ball that your pet dog has chewed the covering off of, it night be that old baseball that your kids have used in one too many games and the stitching is coming off, maybe an old golf ball from a driving range, or an old football or basketball that can no longer be filled with enough air to be of any use - well you get the idea. Anyway, take that ball and write the following on, or if it's not big enough just enclose a note, "Dear Do Nothings, take your ball and go home". Once that is done, find an appropriate size box and mail it to the following:

Representative John Boehner
Office of the House Republican Leader
H-204 The Capitol
Washington, DC 20515

So there's my idea. Who's in?

5. Yeah, they could.
Yeah, and they couldn't very well whine about it, could they?

Afterall, we are talking about the party who joined themselves at the hip with a group who called themselves teabaggers.

4. better yet...
use a postage paid "donation" envelope from the RNC or your favorite R politician. I've heard you can even tape those things to a brick and they'll get sent on through...

just tell them you want to send a check..., maybe that you have a few neighbors that also might be interested in donating...

They often come in fundraising letters, sometimes in the form of a postcard...

14. There are enough republican sites that encourage their readers to do it to the DNC.
Here is a quote from one

You don’t use them anymore, because most likely you just look numbers up online these days. So, here’s what you do:

(1) Get a box

(2) Put your phone book (and maybe some rocks, too) in the box

(3) Include a note telling the DNC and AARP why you no longer support them

(4) Close the box up

(5) Tape the DNC and AARP’s return envelope to the box

(6) Take it to the Post Office

(7) Enjoy the idea that instead of the DNC or AARP making money off that envelope, you could conceivably cost them a few dollars

Do unto them.
