Unemployment legislation in the Senate only advances eligibility dates for the millions of
those who have been unemployed a year or less, and that only for 3 to 4 weeks.

It does not extend actual monetary benefits, and millions have already exhausted all benefit claims, particularly those who have been unemployed 2 or more years.

Both the Congress and journalists have been practicing prestidigitation with this, intentionally misleading the people as to the legislation's intention.

Both democrats and republicans, also the president, get a massive FAIL for their cruel treatment of those hardest hit in the Great Depression--the unemployed.

Thank you for taking the time to read what is only my second thread since joining DU.
