You are the people who I admire and look up to here at DU. The truth telling and critical analysis you provide while standing firm on your democratic principles and values gives me pause and time to reflect upon what I can do better. What you do here is invaluable.

The people doing the hard work are those who stand tall in the face of such adversity coming at them from every angle. They are maligned by the right and the "centrist" pragamatists who think holding a majority is the victory. You are the stalwarts who have eyes wide open, not blind loyalty.

And for President Obama, might I add, may he refrain from continuing GWB's policies of war escalation and corporate welfare. May he protect us from the teabagging agenda whichs want more war and more corporate welfare. God bless President Obama and may he keep us safe from the teabag agenda that embroils this great country by those who hold the purse strings. And may those who claim to have our same ideals, begin the fight to embrace an anti-teabag agenda. Hold our President and our elected officials feet to the fire from the left, for the betterment of President Obama and all mankind. It is only then that the country can move forward. We must not fear the challenge, but embrace it!
