Linda McMahon Resigns From State Board of Education

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon submitted her resignation Thursday from the state Board of Education after only a year's service, saying that a new legal opinion by state elections officials restricts political activities by board members too severely for her to remain on the panel.

McMahon, former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, said that she regrets having to quit the state board.

A new legal opinion from the State Elections Enforcement Commission, issued last month concerning another member of the board, said that members of the panel are considered state "department heads" for the purposes of a state statute prohibiting executive branch appointees from currying political favor through political activities.

This woman is spending 50 million of her own money and then says she can relate to common middle class people. I live in CT and her winning scares the shit out of me. Anyone who has 50 million to throw down and buy their way into office is someone who can not relate to the people.
