1. I find it odd that Secret Service still makes Obama use the ugly Bush Limos. They never take the new
one over seas. I wonder why.

3. MSNBC had Stephen Cohen shitting on this agreement. He think Regan's was more important. I looked
him up and he's married to the chick for THe Nation. Does she know how much her husband loves Reagan?

4. Stephen Cohen also complained that the text of the treaty
was not made available to read. Therefore; if he didn't read it, how can he criticize it? I'm so sick of Morning Joe and Mika Bobblehead agreeing with Joe on every step of the way.

5. Did he criticize the agreement itself?
I think it is hard to deny that the first agreement to limit nuclear weapons would be more significant, especially as a Republican President did it. This does not diminish Obama's accomplishment. But, Obama's work is not done - it will be harder for a Democratic President to get this ratified than it was for Reagan. Why? The Democrats are basically for it, no matter who the President is. That is why, even as a Kerry supporter, I was not offended it in the least, when several news people spoke of Lugar being important to getting this ratified.

Cohen has always seemed a Democrat, but I think he was at least attracted to neo-con ideas.

7. He said the language would lead to conflict and eventually destroy the treaty becuz the US will want
to build missile systems in parts of Europe and Russia will be against it.

I think all of these Weapon treaties are useless. I would be shocked if we don't have a lot more nukes than we claim to have, and the same goes for Russia. I'm sure Russia still has missiles that Reagan thought they would get rid of.
