3. Amazingly he doesn't have to be a pretend cowboy to be bad ass either
He doesn't strut or smirk or sneer or pose or get all twangy and puffy chested or mean and vindictive or have to have glamorous backdrops or land jets or stuff his crotch or vet his audiences or have the same words repeated all over his backdrops.

He is 100 times tougher than Jr. who was so friggen soft in the head, but the media will NEVER give him a fair shake about it ... Gotta stick to the right wing agenda - dems soft, Rs strong, just the way it is ...

11. Did you see where Mr. Amadinnajacket called him a cowboy?
Too funny.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has issued a strong personal attack against US President Barack Obama, calling him a “cowboy” who was quick to threaten to use nuclear weapons against America’s enemies. Commenting on new US policy restrictions on the use of nuclear weapons which deliberately excluded Iran, Ahmadinejad said Iran would not yield to threats.

12. There's something so pathetically predictable about extreme right wing rhetoric
that wasn't so obvious not too long ago. The accusations being hurled by the teabaggers (they don't warrant the label 'party' as far as I'm concerned) are the same as those of the extreme theocratic world leaders. Ahmadinejad sounds just like the GOP and the idiocrats everywhere.

The novelty of the raging hurled accusations is wearing thin. And the mantra is getting tiresome and boringly repetitious.

My Texan relatives always said "Bush is no cowboy."

I've met real cowboys and they despised Bush.

53. Well, hey, if the president's CIA kill team promises to try to peacefully arrest the target first
so he can be brought to trial, that's due process.

That's not what they're talking about doing.

43. Sensational rhetoric?
From whom?

Admiral Dennis Blair in Congressional testimony?

"Obama's Director of National Intelligence, Adm. Dennis Blair, acknowledged in Congressional testimony that the administration reserves the 'right' to carry out such assassinations."

Or the New York Times?

"The Obama administration has taken the extraordinary step of authorizing the targeted killing of an American citizen..."

Or the Washington Post?

"A Muslim cleric tied to the attempted bombing of a Detroit-bound airliner has become the first U.S. citizen added to a list of suspected terrorists the CIA is authorized to kill, a U.S. official said Tuesday."

37. I understand. For the first time I told a member of the DNC
to not call me back. Told him I'm not voting for any more warmongering corporate democrats. I meant it. If there are any progressive democrats to be found in my region, I'm there. Otherwise, consider me an independent.

Not ever have I even been curt to the Democratic Callers - but when he said "Let's help them to keep their spines." I retorted, "What spines?!?"

Words can not describe how damn disappointed I am with my party today. :(

31. So bad ass that he's afraid to take on torturers, banksters, frtaudsters
and other egregious corporate criminals.

Knowingly poison millions of products, kill 9 people- sicken thousands of others (all the while leaving a paper trail that a prosecutor can only dream about)- and you'll safely hide behind the corporate veil, walking away scot free.

Obama may be a lot of things- but bad ass he;'s not.

The guy is a conciliator and consensus builder- to the point of pathological conflict aversion.

Lyndon Johnson, Harry Truman- OK, maybe bad ass. Barack Obama? Come on now.

I mean, really- that's just not his nature.

Think about it. Would a "bad ass" have left Lieberman in his chairmanship after he campaigned for the opposition?

so, I'm ok with that. Whatever pisses them off gives me some measure of joy. What Obama has done in the last few weeks is shown fortitude and strength of character with little wiggle room to permit Reps to try and push him around. Obama has provided some reason to smile and I'm going with the positive. From one Utahn to another :)
