1. Ok, those photos need some serious color correction...
Oh... It's President Dmitry's suit throwing off the gamma.*

Never mind.

*More like gamma rays.

2. It's definitely a historic moment
they look quite at ease with each other and the direct eye contact in the first photo is good. No shifty eyed sliding away of the eyes from each other.

3. I like the photo at the end. Hillary and Obama seem very comfortable working together now.
Now, we just have to get the treaty approved (hopefully) in the Senate.

4. Look at that second pic -- look at their mouths! Almost identical -- what would
you call them, not smirks -- expressions? Funny!

8. Medvedev's suit is really awful. Very bad tailoring.
Four-button sleeves? The pewter tie doesn't help. The shirt sleeves are too long, and the collar is out-dated. This is why Russia never gets invited to Fashion Week.

Nuclear what...?? ;)

11. Third to last picture gave me a headache. Question: You see the last pic...
The girl in the suit behind the officer who might be Gates, I'm not sure. She's wearing a sort of twead suit. Any savvy people know where I can get that suit or have seen a copy of it on the net. Thanks in advance.

K/R for great pics as always Jackeens.

14. lol @ that frowning photo.
Prague is so pretty. Ed Henry has been Tweeting photos from the city streets for the last several days...

http://twitter.com/edhenrycnn

Of course I realize SOME of it has all the beauty of Soviet era public housing, I think I'm going to have to put Prague on my list of places to visit before I die.

20. It's worth it.
I was there in the late 80s for a bit. It's spectacular mostly because it escaped almost all the bombing of the wars, unlike most of the area. So there's extra-extra-extra old stuff, which in Europe means almost geologically old. :D

16. even during the cold war I wasn't afraid of Russia or Russians

and I never believed they would nuke us.

Russia has such a rich history in arts, writing, architecture, etc. its amazing.

the people have been through a number of really bad times but came thru as strong and interesting as ever.
