So this is how stupid the media is:Obama was asked a question about Palin and guess what happens |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-09-10 04:29 PM by bigdarryl
He's been viewed now by the media as getting in the gutter with Palin. He was asked a question by this DIP SHIT on THIS WEEK QUOTE:What do you think about Palin's statement on your Nuclear Arms Agreement and he said rightfully so she's no expert on Nuclear Arms and now Obama is the bad guy for saying this.I just watched a segment on Tweety's show and Fineman and company were kissing Palin's ass as if she's the best thing since slice bread.

they were saying something about him "attacking down." I'm not sure what's going on with Tweety's fascination with her, but I'm done with it.

Still, I think the best answer, when asked what he thought about Palin, would have been: "I don't."

If there isn't any he'll make some up. He craves conflict the way a meth addict craves their next fix.

That includes mob violence pleasers.

26. John Kerry thought it would be "attacking down" to answer the Swift Boat charges. |
|
...and look where ignoring that got him.
This rule about not "attacking down" seems to have become instant conventional wisdom, having never been mentioned by the pundantocracy before the very instant Obama responded to Palin.
I certanly don't recall them ever accusing Bush-Cheney of "attacking down," even as Cheney was going after Joe Wilson or any of the other prominent Iraq War protesters.
It's truly amazing the double standard the media have for treatment of a Dem president vs. a Puke one.

5. They completely ignore the fact that Snuffy asked him specifically about Palin's ramblings. |
|
The president had to answer, and I thought he did a great job.
The MEdia has to prop someone up on the other side. Otherwise they lose a big wad of money. Palin has become their candidate, for better or worse. She does cause excitement even if it is just a tingle down Tweety's leg. They will prop her up and demand answers to her stupid rambling questions, and then attack the president when he does try to make sense of what she is asking. It worked with the Smirk for two terms.
The MEdia is in full panic right about now. Moosekiller Barbie is the best they can do.

...he did so, rather gently reminding his interlocutor that she is not informed enough to speak on the topic at hand.
The question directly cited comments from Her Quittiness. Should he have refused to acknowledge the subject of the question?
Nothing to criticize.

14. Well, this will make you feel good then.. |
|
I had a customer today at the Co-op who took back a quarter she was going to pay with and then she saw it was ALASKA and she said, "I should have given it to you..I can't stand sarah palin!" I said, "I see we're on the same page here..but, I refuse to let her ruin Alaska for me." She thought that was worth considering.
Also, on CBS, 4/6/10 @ 10pm, "The Good Wife" had a character in the show say that she thought "sarah palin" was the devil incarnate."
tweety, fineman, et al are mediawhores and will do anything their in their craven realm to create controversary.
palin doesn't know shit and if they don't know that then they don't either.

|
the joint chiefs of staff and that those were the people that should understand the situation - that Palin was not an expert and he would defer to the experts.
then the crap mudia puts that creepy piece of shit out there as something (and I do mean a "thing" - maybe a swamp thing?) and goes gah-gah.

18. I've been watching tv and reading different blogs... |
|
And these are the things I'm reading/hearing...he's (Obama) is sexist, thin skinned, arrogant, condescending, rude, etc (not from Obama supporters).
Here's what I think, these twats couldn't give a crap when Hillary was being hammered, and they don't give a squat when Pelosi, Boxer, Dem women in general are called names and treated with hostility. Now they get all self righteous and run to Palin's defense. Now two things come to mind, 1) God forbid a black man dismiss a white woman (sorry that's how I see it) and 2) the women want to be her (WHY?!?!? I don't know) and the men want to do her.
He's put in a no win situation, if he responds he's pounded with the above, if he ignores he's afraid of her plus all of the above.
Sarah Palin is a nasty, vindictive woman who's all wrapped up in her "celebrity". What goes around comes around, she's gonna get hers in the end.
I wish more Dem women would call her out on her shit. She's as dumb as a bucket of shrimp and is dangerous.
Dumb and dangerous is a bad combination. Someone needs to shed a giant spot light on her stupidity.
Just my two cents.

I'll add grifter to her resume
I've never seen someone who usurps so many other people's causes and events to benefit their own celebrity
To his credit, Glenn Beck said he'd never be her Vice-President when she said it at someone elses rally (that she made into a Palin event). I think he knows what she is -- but he'll never say she's a grifter, or a leech, etc
But whenever I watch the Media Matters clips from when she's on his show or he talks about her, the look of bewilderment on his face is quite amusing

24. I just think it's another move by the media to emasculate a POTUS who is of color. |
|
There have been plenty of other folks (like Tina Fey, Katie Couric and others) who have disparaged this creature with looks as well as words. However, they have not been attacked as being "too harsh" on Caribou Barbie.
But now, Mr. Obama is seen as a sexist tyrant because he spoke truth to power about Sarah's lack of erudition?
The old boys club do not like it when people of color speak back--especially when it is against someone they put on a pedestal.
