Anybody else watching the crowd behind Hannity? These people scare me.

They are RABID in their hatred of Obama and the Democrats.
They are ALL white, there is not a brown or black face in the group. They are mainly middle aged or older but there are some young people.
They "can't wait to take their country back".
And they will be voting in droves in November.
I really am starting to think the House and Senate will be lost.

Now, there true believers might not see the rabid hatred, but everyone else will - including many Republicans and Independents.

It is now 30 years since the 1960s ended - adn to some degree Democrats and liberals are still vilified for the 1960s.
I was a college student in the turbulent 60s/70s. our protest rallies were basically peaceful and we were actually idealist. But, the angry faces of the fringe scared many of the people in the middle.

The GOP candidate will have to chose to embrace Hannity's followers or to distance himself. Not an easy choice. One danger of spending to much time winning these people is that there is a tendency to lose perspective on what the societal norm is. They can easily start to speak everywhere as if they were on Fox. That could turn people off.

THEY cannot even articulate what they are against now that they previously supported and why.

With Insannity having a scandal and Glenn Beckkk losing sponsors and saying he's only doing it for the money, you would think these assholes would wake up. Maybe someone should shed a lot more light on these ass clowns and show these fools who they really are. But for now we need to divide the Repukes from the Teabaggers.
