I'm watching Pataki on C-SPAN...
Edited on Sun Apr-18-10 09:00 AM by rasputin1952
what an idiot, and the idiots calling in are even worse!

He has mentioned, "Obamacare" at least 50x. His Revere America crap must be a real winner, he's mentioned that at leas 40x.

Some "72 yo" goomer called in and said the idea of "social health care" is "terrible, and will bring down the nation". So the 7 years he's received Medicare is OK, but denying health care to children is somehow justified?

The more Pataki talks, the more idiotic he gets. Once again, an R w/o an alternative plan, its all about attacking PO and D's...but absolutely nothing in the way of an "answer" as to how he would change things, except repeal HCR.

God these people are stupid!

1. And I'm listening to a smart man on my boob tube; Bill Clinton on abc.

I know, maybe it's not on there yet, but he is refreshing. :hi:

Edit to add, as for cspan, hopefully others watching are recognizing the stupidity, too, but it makes you wonder.

3. Clinton is doing a great job. I'm loving it!
He's so full of great perspective from his world travel and experience.

2. I'm listening to Pataki run his mouth, too.
And I must have yelled at least 40 times for him to shut-up. He's repeating the same things that Mitch McConnell, John Boner, Eric Cantor, etc. have repeated for the last year. I'm sick of it.

Thank God, he finally got off.

4. It was ridiculous...
The only thing was trying to do was hammer "Obamacare" home, it was propaganda worthy of Goebbels, just "repeat, repeat, repeat"...it was pathetic...x(

6. Why has he been all over the media recently?
Is he just trying to help Republicans get elected? I hadn't heard about him running for anything else.

9. The presidential bug has burrowed itself into the skin of George Pataki
and it's there to stay, at least until he loses the nomination:

George Pataki, ladies and gentlemen. Running for president. :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

10. Yes, they're stupid and we had to endure that
vacuousness for a 3 term Governorship in New York.

12. When I lived in NY, as i grew up, there were plenty of "terrible" pols...
it seems to have gotten much worse. The things going on on in Albany are incredible.

How Ghouliani ever made it as far as he did in NYC also seems incredible to me. Listening to Pataki reminded me just how ridiculous pols can be when it comes right down yo it, he sounded as if the vacuum in his skull was about to make his head implode. There was absolutely nothing there, all he was doing was spewing out inane trash. All I'm ever hearing from the RW, no matter the position, is that "Obama" is evil!", "we're all going to die in our sleep tonight!"; but PO hasn't sprouted horns and we're still here...all they do is ramp it up another notch. If anything, since this appears to be their plan to get Congress back, it shows me they have a terrific failure on their hands when Nov comes around.

14. The evil in this country is the US corporatemedia's
gNOp branch giving them infinite access to repeat their spew.

The quote from Steve Benen in my sig line says it all. Can you imagine if we didn't have the internet(thank you, Al Gore)? They have the majority of the airwaves and the "news"papers..and they'd like to get their greedy mitts on our net.

It could be worse, though..and I'm just glad Senator Obama stepped up and we all got him in position to work on undoing the vipers' nest that is facist America.

13. I'm actually glad he was on...
anyone who saw that ridiculous dog and pony show had to come to the conclusion that R's have an empty bucket.

It sounded more like an info-mmercial for "Stupid, Without a Clue"...:D
