The Obamas will be taking a spring vacation in Asheville, North Carolina next weekend, according to the White House.

According to Asheville's Citizen Times, Obama last visited Asheville on Oct. 5, 2008 in the lead-up to the presidential election.

Local station WLO reports that the President, First Lady, their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, and Michelle's mother, will be staying at the historic Grove Park Inn.

8. I used to live in Asheville, NC in the '70's..it is

so beautiful especially in the Spring!

A good friend of my niece's is a manager at the Grove Park Inn..I'll have to see what Tom knows about this? :)
