1. Ironically, the oil we could get off our beautiful coastlines is a 'drop in the bucket.'

A 'drop in the bucket' compared to our energy use. We need alternative energy much more, but evidently the Dem leadership doesn't think we can get it, if we don't agree to drill off our coastlines to get both Republican and some Democratic support for the energy bill.

Sigh!

3. Are the energy co's compelled to keep the oil in the US?

Or are they free to sell it to the highest bidder (China and/or India).
