1. fine with me; he'll split the Republican vote.
Then it will be adios to both Rubio and Crist!

11. Polling suggests this isn't true
He'll probably steal more Dem votes than Republican.

7. How come this isn't being reported on the other channels?
:wtf:

Looks like "My sources tell me" Tony Sanchez may have jumped the gun
ahead of the official announcement scheduled for tomorrow.

9. He could be "our Lieberman."
I hate to say it, but depending on how things shape up, it may be preferable for Meek to fade a bit.

10. If he manages to split the conservative vote, even a little, it will be reat news for Meek...
Assuming that Democrats in Florida don't leave Meek to vote for Crist.

14. 2/3
I certainly hope Meeks wins, but I'd take Crist over Rubio, as he is a far right loon...

When Katherine Harris ran in 2006, Bill Nelson beat her by 20% (or thereabouts), so hopefully FL. voters will reject the right-wing extremist again....

17. If it splits the conservative vote, it is good for Meek. If he manages to beat Rubio
it is better then having that nutso in the Senate. Crist is not great. Better the a teabagger type though.

16. The right wing are not taking this very well.
It is both funny and scary for his family to read some of their reactions. Let's put it this way of hewas a Presidential Candidate some of the right wingers would be getting a visit fro men in very nice tailored suits.

21. Hehe, I'm not sure he would have any other choice.
The Republican party all ready didn't like Crist, now he is about as damaged with them as it gets.

20. Great news.
I hope his statement is full of "I'm not leaving the GOP...the GOP has left me" rhetoric.
