Republican incoming FL Senate Pres. Haridopolos on MSNBC trashing Crist calling him 'John Kerry.'
These hypocritical Republicans took the stimulus money last year, and are counting on getting it in their budget this year--and yet, have trashed Crist from the get go for taking it! This is how Marco Rubio got traction.

They are scum! I hope Charlie Crist runs as 'no party affiiation' destroys their despicable, hypocritical party.

They are not fit to lead our great state!

2. Why not send that money to the Democrat?
With two conservatives running we've got a good chance to poach that seat.

8. Crist will not be in the primary now, as I understand it. Can you vote in the primary as an Ind?

If I think Meek has absolutely no chance to win in the general, I will vote for Crist, but I don't think that will be the case.

11. No, you cannot vote in the primary as a 'no party' registered voter with one exception
Does being "no party" affect my voting in the primaries?

Since Florida is a closed-primary state, only voters who are affiliated with one of the major parties (Republican or Democrat) at book closing (29 days prior to an election), will be eligible to vote in that party's primary. If, however, all the candidates in a primary have the same party affiliation and the winner will have no opposition in the general election, all qualified electors, regardless of party affiliation may vote in the primary election for that office.

7. That is hilarious
Now, there is no way that the moderate Florida governor is or will ever vote like John Kerry, there are seriously worse things to be called - like everything they call Obama.

I assume that they are going to their own meme that Kerry flip flops, but in fact, his positions now often are recognizable in positions he had in 1971 - and he was never a Republican.

Now, a closer approximation would be Lieberman, who did go from Democrat to Independent. (but in their world that was a move of conscience.)
