Thanking Secret Service: Obama visiting training facility

President Obama planned to visit the Secret Service training facility in Beltsville, Md., Friday, according to White House guidance.

He'll take a tour of the James J. Rowley Training Center and observe some training demonstrations. Obama plans to thank "some of the men and women who have worked so hard and made so many sacrifices to protect him and his family," the White House said.

Those men and women are amazing Americans. I'd be very surprised if his predecessor thought to do that.

...according to many sources within the Secret Service, Bush was very respectful and appreciative of the Secret Service and they liked him in return.

Even a war criminal has some redeeming qualities.
