Inglis covers his right flank
Rep. Bob Inglis (R-S.C.), taking heavy fire from four GOP primary opponents, is working hard to remind voters in his upstate South Carolina district of his conservative credentials.

Inglis, running for a seventh term, is rolling out an endorsement from the National Rifle Association this week and launching two new TV ads that highlight his voting record.

“The National Rifle Association is proud to lend our support to Congressman Inglis because he is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in South Carolina,” National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund Chairman Chris Cox said in a statement.

Inglis’s TV spots underscore his votes against the health care bill, cap-and-trade, the auto industry bailout, and the stimulus package.
