Only 3,000 show up a Palin Speech in Independence Missouri! |
|
Yesterday the "Preserving American Liberty with Guest Speakers: Sarah Palin, Fred Thompson, Liz Cheney" was in Independence MO, right outside of Kansas City.
Tickets were $50. The Events Center seats 6,000 people. 3,000 tickets were purchased.
$50 times 3000 = $150,000. I bet Palin made $100,000, so after paying Thompson and Cheney and paying rental expenses I bet not much money was made.
I think that is amazingly low for an event with all of those speakers.
So much for her and the GOP being so popular.

1. The bloom is off $arah's rose. |
|
Even her worshipful, unquestioning acolytes seem to be gradually wearying of her shrill, senseless comments. Is it too much to hope that she will soon fade from view?

3. In the hometown of Harry Truman! He would have ate her lunch...or he wouldn't have to cause Bess |
|
would have.
She is pathetic. Why won't she just go away? She is a pathetic attention-junkie.

8. NO. Sarah Palin must stay. |
|
She is doing more for the Democratic Party than Toyota has done for American cars.

14. Harry Truman would have wrecked Sarah Palin. |
|
Truman was never, EVER afraid to call things how he saw them.
I think Kennedy would have viewed her as a mentally-deficient airhead who swindles people out of their money, and Lyndon Johnson would have been positively enraged by the fact that she constantly bashes "elites" while making millions of dollars herself.
And Nixon? He might have ordered a goddamn hit on her, GOP be damned.

It's all about makin' sure the freedom-lovin' hard-workin' moose-shootin' semi-Governor never has to work another day in her life. Taaaaaaaaaahd might even get to quit his high-wage union job.

10. Well, I don't know much about Liz Cheney, but Fred is a real ball of fire |
|
at the lectern, and Palin is....Palin.
I am certain this is a turning point in her "career" as whatever it is she is supposed to be.

13. Remember when some people here were 'warning' us about him? |
|
I laughed so hard at that.
Just like they are 'warning' us about Palin, another person that will see tha Oval Office only if she takes the White House tour.

before they all went home to watch TV.
He HAD to be an actor - he has no personality of his own.
