Florida's Republican led Legislature is still taking the stimulus money! Why doesn't the media point this out to the Republicans who appear on their shows? Just this morning on Meet the Press Lamar Alexander and Mike Pence were discussing how Crist had betrayed the Republican party for taking stimulus money and for the infamous Obama 'hug.'

Yet the just passed budget from our Republican controlled Florida Legislature--counts on receiving $2.3 billion in stimulus funds, plus an additional $1 billion in Medicaid funding--from, where else-- Washington!

Why does the media let Republicans get away with this? Of course, David Gregory sat mute on this important point. And, he's not alone.

I am not supporting Charlie Crist, who evidently found it politically expedient on MTP to eagerly trash the recently passed healthcare reform bill. Charlie will change his position, of course, when public opinion moves--and it will. I am supporting the Democrat, Rep. Kendrick Meek, for Florida's open senate seat.
