Stories of an affair between Vera Baker and Barack Obama have been running rampant all over the internet for the past few days.

The rumor, not a new one, has been resurrected, and the Vera Baker – Barack Obama cheating scandal has taken on a life of its own.

Is there any truth to this rumor?

"Is there any truth to the rumor about Barack Obama and Vera Baker having an affair?

I think it’s significant that NONE of the major news outlets (The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNN, Fox News, ABC, NBC, etc) have chosen to even dignify this rumor by reporting on it.

I think it’s also significant that when ABC and NBC checked out this rumor in 2008, they chose not to pursue it any further, and let the matter drop.

The facts that have been uncovered thus far are definitely NOT proof that Vera Baker was Obama’s mistress, or that an affair between Barack Obama and Vera Baker ever occurred.

If Vera Baker was a key person on Obama’s campaign team, there were probably legitimate reasons why she was taken to his hotel.

Until more substantial proof is actually presented for the public to see, I think we can safely assume that the rumor of a Vera Baker – Barack Obama affair is just that – a rumor and nothing more."

While I realize the temptation to this is strong for many politicians and WE ALL have at least one vice, something besides this article gives me reason to think that "cheating" is not one of his vices.

Besides, after Michelle, his mother-in-law, Oprah, Gayle, and Hillary, the line would be out the door for the many other women standing there waiting to beat his ass--especially after what we went through with Clinton.

Also, with the way he looks at Michelle, the man is utterly head-over-heels in love with his wife.

they were seen entering the hotel where the Democrats at that time had their headquarters. What in the hell evidence is that. I am sure Baker entered at different times with different people as did Obama. Were each of them having an affair with every person they entered the hotel with. The republicans are really reaching.
