Any bets on when the freeps will use the "hot flash problem" against Kagan?
I'm surprised that I haven't heard it yet. Didn't whathizname warn that Sotomayor would go into SCOTUS conferences suffering from menopausal hot flashes?

Wait for it...it'll happen...

1. I'm wondering which GOP Senator will decide to take a walk down the
"lesbian rumors" road.

I'd put money on Jim DeMint.

4. Naw, it'll be Limpballs and other RW media scum that'll do that dirty work!
The repukes in the Senate won't have to get their hands dirty...it'll all be done for them on the air and on Fox...you'll see...

3. Are people so ignorant that they think hot flashes last forever?
For most women, the body fairly quickly adapts to the new hormonal state and hot flashes go away, often in just a few months. For all we know she may already have gone through menopause--either naturally or as a result of hysterectomy.

I know the point you are trying to make and the sexist nature of the question is certainly not unexpected for the misogynistic RW. But, I am wondering how many males on our side of the equation are likewise so uninformed or biased. Besides, the equivalent in males that leads often to moderate-severe depression, ought to be discussed if this comes up.

5. Or women (like me and my mother before me) who never HAD a hot flash!
Plenty of women don't have menopausal discomfort and are kinda happy to have their periods over and done with (along with having to use b.c.).
