My problem is we are replacing a stalwart when it comes to civil liberties and executive power with someone that has shown a demonstrated deference to indefinite detention along with an administration that has also shown demonstrated support for the concept. There was a better female nominee on that list IMO for the nomination that would have been more fitting as a replacement for Stevens and his philosophy.
