11. Anti-war, anti-deficit, anti-spending, anti-debt
Ya know, everything that Bush set in motion is bad now that a Democrat has to deal with it.

28. MSNBC has decided they are anti-war. C-Span is more balanced and fair.
I turned MSNBC off and turned on C-Span.

12. Chris is correct.
Obama is going to be politically alone except for the pro-military, corporate establishment.

Progressives are increasingly demoralized and the radical Republicans will never support him when it counts.

All-in-all ... nothing gained, much lost.

9. Tweety actually made sense to me. Reasons for war don't make sense.
War for the sake of war, it seems. Well, war for the sake of *sucking money out of the coffers* is more like it.

20. I agree with the 2009 anti-war Tweety now.
They were all pro-war then. Tweety is an idiot. It was a freak of nature that he said the right thing tonight. Good thing I don't give a rat's ass about Tweety and rarely watch his show.

16. It was a strange and extraordinarily biased commentary
He decided before he watched the speech that he was going to draw a contrast between Bush and Obama in front of a military audience based on stereotypes. He said what he believed would be true even though I saw nothing of the sort. It was a terribly lazy commentary and he should receive a lot of scorn for it.

Edited on Tue Dec-01-09 09:02 PM by Thrill
Its a shame. I can't defend him doing this dumbass move.

Democrats are always ready to jump ship, so they will no doubt do it to him. And Republicans hate him no matter what. He's going to be a lone puppy on this with approval ratings in the low 30s

29. Throw it against the wall and see if it will stick
Media has been doing this crap for years. Blind stabs in the dark have become the reporting norm. I yearn for the days that newspeople actually investigated and checked things before blabbing away on the air or in print.
