POLLS are people too!
Edited on Fri May-14-10 12:56 AM by FrenchieCat
I'm sick and tired of 'em.
In fact, I'm fucking sick and real ass tired of them!

Why?

Because they remind me of that Brother-in-law who came for a short visit
and ended up staying, and pretty soon, took over your entire
household, till he was answering your phone, opening your mail,
eating up your food and playing with your children as though they were his.
At some point you ask him....why in the fuck are you still here,
taking over my life?

That's how I feel about polls.

And so it would seem these days, that just like Corporation are people,
polls now represent what the American people are saying, thinking, feeling......
and that is how polls are used; to tell us what to believe, and what others believe.....
but is it true?

See, this is what some figure, if 64% of people like being fucking racists towards Hispanics,
couldn't be anything wrong with you if you do as well. That's what those polls
are for; to tell us it's alright to be like really stupid, cause there are a whole
bunch more Morons out there who think the exact same way.....or at least 64% of 1,000. :eyes:

The Latest polls that is being treated like an election happened
is that NBC news/WSJ poll. Why is NBC teaming up with a Murdock rag
to give us our opinions? What's that about?

1,000 persons surveyed, including 100 by cell phone,
are who decides what Americans truly think? :wtf:

Guess I should be impressed!

Here's the full poll. http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/MSNBC/Sections/NEWS/A_Politics/___Politics_Today_Stories_Teases/100512_NBC_WSJ_Poll.pdf

Read it, and inform yourselves, cause if polls are talking for us,
we should know what they say, instead of leaving it up to the corporate media to twist
that news in whatever way they see fit, day in day out till the next new poll comes out.

The results, if you are gonna believe this shit, well it actually shows that there was improvement from the last commissioned poll for Democrats and for Barack Obama....we just don't get to hear that part, and you fucking know why.

That's why Republicans almost got away with their garbage "well the American people feels......, (cite a poll here)" so fucking much during the health care debate!

Because we are being trained to accept this poll bullshit as our new democracy, and of course, enough of us play to make this dumb shit possible.

Look, I don't mind a good poll now and then, but fuck, every fucking thing that happens is polled
these day. When are they gonna give this shit a rest? Probably never, as long as we quote these
polls like they've got to be the truth....cause how could 1,000 people out of 300 million be anything but right!

just look at MSNBC's website at the top stories

2. Couldn't agree more. The corporate media has a vested interest.
