with the massive amounts of oil blowing out every minute it will be picked up by the G.S.

speaking locally, I think Key West should be taking G.S. water samples twice a day. surface and deep water samples. doubt if there is anyplace in the Keys that could process the samples unless the Navy could and would. the Navy is here in a number of places.

at least we could know what is happening. not that we could do anything about it.

Florida Bay will be ruined.

Key West will be ruined.

and there is nothing any of us can do except to put the oil suit men in prison for ever.

I'm totally pissed at the White House and Congress. totally pissed at the media.

totally pissed that we can't do anything.

1. Beyond pissed, we all should be.
No one - not Congress, BP, Obama, the Repubs - no one is looking even decent at this point in this fiasco.

Love Obama, but geez, this guy needs to learn how to crack heads and start doing it now.

2. What good does taking samples in the keys do? Not like they can
do anything about the results.

true we can't do a damn thing about it.

and I don't think Key West would do water testing. it would cost too much money. and when the oil comes it will bankrupt whatever it touches.
