Obama Causes Woman to Levitate In His Presence
Edited on Fri May-14-10 02:56 PM by Clio the Leo
Seriously! ..... he went to the plant where they make the levitation device and invited her to try it out. "What's the purpose of this thing?" she asked .... "it's for FUN!" he told her.

The man has to be stopped .... he cant just be walking around making people have fun with his supernatural powers of persuasion.

President Obama convinces New York Times reporter Sheryl Stolberg to demo a small hovercraft at Industrial Support Inc., a manufacturing services company in Buffalo, N.Y.

Funny how he already knew how it worked, "You have to sit DOWN on it!" .... No doubt he was debriefed about this commie contraption in the Situation Room before he left DC.

lol @ "you got a rocket launcher!?"

7. It doesn't seen to lift you up very high. You just slide across the floor.
It might be good for ice or lava surfaces.

11. Of course he was debriefed.
It's what makes some gaffes all the worse.

His handlers, on the way, told him everything he could need to know. Their job is to make sure he looks good. They suggested oneliners, in all likelihood. There is little room for mistakes--apart from inattention during the briefing or the event.

When there are gaffes, then it's all up to biases and preconceptions to explain them. Was he just stupid? Was he worried about something else? Did the handlers tell him the right things or was it a plot? All depends if you want to make your guy look good and obviously not to be held responsible for the gaffe or if you you want to make your enemy look bad and obviously entirely responsible for the gaffe. (There's not much in between, for most folk.)

I've seen such binders. They drip detail. They're intended to make the prez (or whoever) look wonderful, and everybody else is cast in a supporting role, and is both handled as well as appointed junior assistant trainee handler for keeping the star on course.

In this case, I wouldn't be surprised if the "You have to sit down on it!" exchange wasn't actually scripted. Probably wasn't. But the level of detail in those binders is scary.

12. Just as long as he doesn't turn her into a newt.
Sir Bedevere: What makes you think she's a witch?
Peasant 3: Well, she turned me into a newt!
Sir Bedevere: A newt?
Peasant 3: ... I got better.
Crowd: Burn her anyway!
