Todd Palin helps Murkowski foe
WASHINGTON — Todd Palin, former Alaskan "first dude" and husband of one-time Republican Gov. Sarah Palin, is helping raise money for a long-shot candidate challenging GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Todd Palin, a competitive snowmobile racer and fisherman, joined Joe Miller at a recent fundraiser and a photo of the two appears on Miller's campaign website. Sarah Palin has not endorsed in the race; she was criticized by Murkowski last year.

"Joe Miller isn't afraid to shake things up in order to get the job done, and that's exactly what we need in Washington today," Todd Palin says on Miller's website.

Miller, an attorney from Fairbanks, is taking on Murkowski, a moderate and member of the GOP leadership who was first appointed to the Senate by her father before winning re-election in 2004. Miller says she's not conservative enough.

1. Lisa Murkowski is NOT a moderate
unless one considers Mussolini a moderate when compared to Hitler. Murkowski is a Big Oil whore!

3. Lisa used to be a moderate when she was a state representative,
but she sold her soul to the corporations when she went to Washington, especially once she was given leadership positions.

Lease A Murkowski

2. Murkowski isn't fascist enough for the co-grifter?
How far right does Mr. Sarah Palin want us to go?

4. It's the social issues he's concerned about.
Whatever else one says about Lisa (and there's plenty to say), she IS pro-choice which would make her anathema to the Palins.

5. Here's a little something from The Mudflats on the Murkowski/Palin
relationship: http://www.themudflats.net/2010/05/15/oyster-round-up-7/

Here we go again. Murkowski v. Palin… only this time it’s Lisa and Todd instead of Frank and Sarah. Todd Palin has showed up at a fundraiser for dark horse Republican candidate Joe Miller, an attorney from Fairbanks who is running against the more moderate, less teabaggy Lisa Murkowski. Sarah didn’t show up at the fundraiser, but Todd’s presence says it all. Interesting considering that Murkowski was the first recipient of a donation from SarahPAC, the political action committee of the ex-half-governor.

Murkowski has been critical of Palin for lying about the existence of death panels in the current health care bill. “Quite honestly, I’m so offended at that terminology because it absolutely isn’t (in the bill). There is no reason to gin up fear in the American public by saying things that are not included in the bill,” the senator said.

I'd like to see them in a cage match.
