Sarah Palin would ban books if she could...
and the best part of that statement is, unlike her lie about Obama banning guns, its true.

2. I burst out laughing in the gym tonight when I looked up from my treadmill
and saw the banner on TV #4 (Faux News) announcing that Sarah Palin was opining on the Greek financial crisis. Fortunately everyone else had earphones on so they probably didn't hear me. I guess she can see Greece from where she lives now.

6. The Greeks would laugh if they knew she made any comment on their situation
On Friday I participated in an international town hall forum via Skype. A couple of dozen of us in Harlem skyped into a meeting with a couple of dozen people in Athens, Greece. We commiserated about the economic downturns we both experienced and we offered them some words of encouragement. They said they wished they had someone like Obama leading them.

13. Given Palin's lack of public honesty and narcissistic nature..I'd believe the librarian on this one
....Palin asked the librarian at a meeting "if she would object to censorship even if people were circling the library in protest about a book."

The report quotes the librarian as responding, "I told her clearly I will fight anyone who tries to indicate what books can go on the library shelves."

The same week that Palin raised the issue she fired Baker (then using her married name Emmons) as librarian, claiming she was not "loyal" to the new administration and had supported Palin's opponent in the election. She said the dismissal was not connected to questions of censorship, and that she had dismissed all city department heads and told them they could re-apply for their jobs.

After a public outcry, Palin rescinded the dismissal of the librarian.

The local newspaper reporter who covered the controversy, Paul Stuart, claims he was later told by the librarian that Palin wanted three specific books removed from the library.

Palin is a proven liar. Proven in a court of law even http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article4924041.ece

Librarian is a public figure without that same proven record.

19. I believe she actually attempted it as Mayor of Wasilla....
Tried to strong-arm the local librarian into dropping some titles, but the libarian wouldn't do it.

As the NRA loves to point out, Hitler demanded strict gun control. And Hitler was also a big fan of banning (and burning) books.

So the scorecard would seem to indicate that Sarah the Half-Governor of Alaska is also Half-Nazi.
