The more I see of Palin.........
The more I really want her to be the Presidential candidate in 2012!

She is really dumber now than she was during the election. I have no idea how that is possible!

22. Willard manages to turn off people like a light switch.
That will never change. Once voters took a closer look at him, they scattered like roaches. It is though he is always one half step off. Because of Bush, he went conservative and religious, just as America was waking up from that nachtmare.

That problem is that outside of Republican leadership, no one likes him.

16. Agreed
Palin has no intention of running for president in 2012 or ever. Too much work, not enough adoration. But she will tease the teabaggers for the next couple of years and rake in their money right up to the date when the real candidate is announced. Then, she will disappear.

(Hah! What am I saying? This malignant piece of shit will never disappear, as long as there is money to be made. As long as there are retards willing to give her money so they can watch her blow bubbles with her spit, this blithering idiot will do her best impersonation of the herpes virus. "Your majesty is like a dose of clap. Before you arrive is pleasure, but after, a pain on the dong." -Python)

17. I bet she won't run in any primaries...
Edited on Sat May-15-10 12:46 PM by discopants
...or debate any GOP contenders at all. She'll run as a 3rd party, Teaparty candidate and go right into the national campaign. Palin will enter the national campaign in September, anointed celebrity queen of America by Fox and CNN . Fox will give her more air time than any other candidate anyway, and with only pre-scripted softball "interviews". Is will be exactly like a replay of the clusterfuck McCain gave to us.

She'll end up in the few national debates with Obama and the GOP candidate, and she'll pull the same crap she did in her only '08 debate with Biden... and she will lose in the November election by a huge margin and blame the "Lamestream media" and her sexist opponents.

4. Palin would lose in a McGovern-Goldwater sized landslide.
She only appeals to the far right base of the GOP. People like Michael Steele know it. They like her because she is a great fund raiser.

I will never forget 1972. I loved George McGovern. He was a lefties dream candidate. Young people, and others fought like hell and got him the nomination. He was crucified by the Republican's, and the establishement media, branded a "commie." He was a great man, but he was branded WAY too far left. What is funny is that much of what he wanted to do, including just "pull out of Vietnam," was what we ended up doing. He had the idea of giving every working family a 1,000 dollar tax rebate check as an economic stimulus. He was ripped up and down. Later on the Republican's adopted pretty much the same thing.

Still, you can not nominate a candidate who only appeals to your base and win a presidential election. Palin will be creamed unless we are in the middle of a great depression. Even then, I do not think the GOP estasblishment will let her have it. She does have a great deal of power because she can run as a third party candidate and guarentee Obama's re-election.

7. I don't
It's not that I think she has a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected, but I just hate to see our political process denigrated any further. Bush was bad enough but the squirmy, wavy, pointy, flirty, snarky ignorance that envelopes Sarah Palin would be even more of an embarrassment.

She's not dumb; she's ignorant, lazy and narrow minded. We'd be the laughing stock of the world (again) with her as a candidate for President.

10. During her stint at VP candidate
the McCain group kept her nose clean and gave her stuff to say. That's why she seemed to be all there. Since then we really see what piece of crap she really is. And the media still is trying to build her up.

CNN has piece....Palin does stand up...and praises her....I think she does "stand down". Down to the lowest deepest dregs she can wallow in, Hades maybe.

19. I don't want her to be their presidential candidate because that would give her an even bigger
platform to spew her hate. And besides that, if Palin is the only one that Obama could defeat in 2012 then we have a big problem. As things look right now, I don't see any potential GOP candidate who would have much of a chance in 2012. So I see no need to hope for Palin because she would lose to Obama. Any of them will lose to Obama.

Which is an indictment of her "fans" who aren't smart enough to see how outrageously disingenuous she is.

I don't want to see her as a candidate as it will create a lot of violence.

26. I'd love to see her as a TP candidate in 2012...
Think Ross Perot in 1992, except that Palin will never pull almost 19% of the vote, and virtually all those she does get will come from Republicans and right-leaning "independents", who will never vote Democratic anyway.
Split 'em up, Sarah!

31. Oh, I definitely wanted to say BITCH
but it's funny how sensitive people are around here.

I'm a woman, but a bitch is a bitch. I'm not so PC I don't call it like I see it, nor do I believe it demeans women as a whole to use the term. I've seen threads derailed from the original point because they go off on the 'correctness' tangent.
