Obama host UConn woman's basketball

President Obama welcomed the NCAA champion University of Connecticut women’s basketball team to the White House on Monday.

"I want to point out: This team has not lost a game since I was elected president,” Obama said, congratulating the Huskies on their second straight undefeated season.

Last year, the team shot a few hoops with the president out on the White House basketball court. And the players told Obama they’d be back in 2010.

“I believed them,” he said.

Just kidding...they have been pretty dominant since I was in college and that was 12 or more years ago! I never went to UConn but did go to some of their games at the Hartford Civic Center (now the XL center). Congrats to the team, must be exciting to win and to go to the WH two years in a row.

Geno looked nervous and wasn't smiling too much. It's too bad because he's a nice looking guy and very pleasant. But I guess he was as star struck as everyone in Obama's presence...
