This ought to be fun: watching Mitch McConnell dance with Rand Paul

McConnell: We're Ready To Unite Behind Paul

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is ready to get behind Rand Paul.

McConnell endorsed Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson in the state's Republican Senate primary -- the race in which Tea Party favorite Rand Paul just walloped McConnell's hand-picked establishment candidate.

The Senate Minority Leader now says his party is ready to get behind Paul in the general election.

Dr. Paul ran an outstanding campaign which clearly struck a chord with Kentucky voters and I congratulate him on his impressive victory. Now Kentucky Republicans will unite in standing against the overreaching policies of the Obama Administration. We are spiraling further into unsustainable debt and Kentucky needs Rand Paul in the U.S. Senate because he will work every day to stop this crippling agenda.

2. McConnell
Must have crapped his knickers when he saw Paul was going to win. Hopefully we can get him to do that again when he's up for election next. He needs to retire to one of our caves.

10. Pukes ALWAYS fall in line. It'll be lamer than we would hope
McConnell has jumped up on top of the bandwagon and Paul seems willing to move not toward the "center" but a lil more Republican friendly.

If they can't get along then Paul has more hand since he'll get plenty nutbagger ca$h, landed more puke primary votes than anyone in history, and the Repuke machine isn't really some formidable strength or anything.

If Paul wins it will be regardless of Mitch or the puke party.
