1. This is nothing new for the McMahons, either.
Don't want to be their enemy...

2. I still think the NYT should have revealed their source in the initial
story.

6. Not only did they not reveal the source, but when questioned on TWO different radio show this AM,
Raymond Hernandez categorically denied that McMahon had anything to do with his writing the story. He actually whined about all the dogged research and endless hours he had put into researching it himself. I cannot help but hope that Hernandez goes the way of that other infamous NYTimes reporter named Blair..whom no one hears from any more.

3.  "A fellow Dem"?
STAMFORD

"Linda McMahon,a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, on Wednesday confirmed that her campaign had a role in this week's New York Times story about Democratic candidate Richard Blumenthal's misstatements about his military career.

McMahon was asked whether her campaign fed the Times information for the story.

"We did," McMahon said. "We've had some role with our research, yes." She did not elaborate.

McMahon made her comments to Fox61 reporter Laurie Perez while on her way into the Republican Party's annual Prescott Bush Awards Dinner.

The campaign has previously acknowledged that it played some part in the story."

5. Maybe that was meant to refer to US as being the fellow Dems...not her?

7. Oh yeah, that's it...
I was wondering if all that was a primary thing..I haven't really followed the mcmahons. So, I looked it up..which usually turns out better 'cause you learn even more.:)

4. Now Blumenthal should release the part
of the video that tells what he said and ask the public, "The republican who sent this mis-information to the News Papers is she the one telling lies that you would want for this office". I would fire right back at her.

8. To me this will be more damning to her than the "Vietnam" story was to Blumenthal

Chris Benoit's father blasts the McMahons and Linda's role in his son's mental trauma and how that contributed to him losing his mind and murdering his Wife and Son (it's no secret that Benoit had taken a lot of chairshots to the head over his career and many people backstage had noticed major changes in Benoit's demeanor over the course of a couple of weeks before the murders... reportedly he was not a religious person and all of a sudden he was majorly religious, etc, etc.)...

9. Oh, I already know all this. Like I said above, don't mess with the McMahons.
Or work for them. There are a lot of dead wrestlers in their wake but I guess it is part of the job too. Vince and Linda like to look the other way when their workers take steroids and Vince probably does it himself. There is a whole lot of spotty stuff if you dig deeper. But I grew up here in CT and always knew that. Vince escaped federal prosecution for steroids, he was acquitted (and lucky).

10. Shooting the messenger and character assassination is how Republicans do it...
Dems usually deal with the issue itself.
