Guess she's warming up to Rand, after hearing about his pro-segregationist position.

Palin hails 'libertarian streak' in GOP candidates
By Michael O'Brien - 05/20/10 07:00 AM ET

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday night hailed what she said was a "libertarian streak" in American politics.

Palin praised Rand Paul's win in a Kentucky Republican primary for Senate earlier this week, saying that candidates like him would be key in this fall's elections.

“Seeing that libertarian streak of his — that is what we need to balance out the leftist liberal overreach of government that’s in power right now," Palin said during an appearance on Fox News on Wednesday night. "Rand is going to be great.”

Sarah Palin's.

I bet Kentucky's rightwing hate groups' private opinion of Paul is, though.

3. McConnell knows Rand is a nutbag...
His candidate - Greyson - even had a website up randpaulstrangeideas.com. This is going to be fun to watch.

5. Yes. Ol' Mitch flubbed this one. He had a pal picked out and durn it all,
things didn't work out.

For people who love to follow politics, that Kentucky Senate race is going to be a humdinger.

I'm right, all current polls are wrong.

4. Conway is already within the margin of error.
Once people (even Kentuckians) learn more about Rand, Conway should build a nice lead. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2010/senate/2010_kentucky_senate_race.html

16. Yes, but it's going mostly to white people.
It's not that people get federal dollars. Most of the people attending Tea Bagger rallies are getting federal dollars and damn well think they deserve it. It's that black and brown people get federal dollars that pisses them off. You have to read between the lines.

That is what the whole socialism thing is all about. Their hero, Glenn Beck has convince them that because Obama is Black he is going to give all of their hard earned dollars to 'thm thar' lazy people. According to Beck, Obama has a whole agenda with his first goal being to give Health Care to the blacks as part of his reparations program. But Beck stopped calling it reparations early on (probably on the advice of Frank Luntz)and started calling it socialism.

Socialism = reparations. It's Obama's plan to give all of the white people's money to the blacks.

Google Beck and reparations. He'll tell you all about it. This is what is motivating these fools. It's a racist movement and they're all jack asses.

7. Palin is nail in the GOP coffin
I said that right after Palin's speech at the GOP convention in 2008. Palin is the nail in the GOP coffin and was the beginning of the end of the GOP and Ran Paul is the hammer for that nail. The GOP will officially be a southern minority party from the South after this November. The Republican Party is going down just like the Wigs....good riddance.

Actually there is nothing more satisfying than watching the Teabaggers take over the GOP. Ha!

19. Palin is significantly less intellectual than Paul
Paul holds some abhorrent positions but at least he can make a semi-coherent argument, unlike Ms. Palin.
