8. This isn't just about Kentucky.

It's about branding the GOP nationally as well. We want his voice out there.

But I wouldn't be the least concerned about that one poll. He will not win by that amount, provided he does indeed win. If the Democrat can brand him as a elitist non-Kentucky ideologue without concern for the people, there's a good shot. In many ways, this Rand Paul guy is a radical who is quite unconservative. I imagine Conway can capture a lot of cultural conservatives by making several political plays.
