Does Arizona also have a law against homosexuality? |
Don't laff... some states do. I am fb friends with a freshly admitted Log Cabin Republican. (He used to PRETEND he was Green, but I always knew better) Anyways, he is the ex bf of one of my main 'mo's and has joined all of these pages like "Boycott Dallas for boycotting AZ" et al, and I want to rub in his face being gay is against the Law in some states (MD is one...at least sodomy and oral sex are illegal) I don't agree with that, but am wondering if AZ has anything like that.

Prior to the Supreme Court Lawrence decision the only states that had laws against sodomy were Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.

2. actually thanks to Lawerence v Texas no state has an enforceable law against concentual sodomy |
that said there were 17 states with those laws. Arizona repealed theirs in 2001 according to Wikipedia.

6. Such laws have already been struck down by the Supreme Court |
You may find laws against being gay that used to be on the books in some states, but they're all null and void now.
States can still get away with other stuff to gays though, like banning gay adoptions, but they can't outlaw being gay or gay sex acts.
