They Can't do Anything Right!
Edited on Wed May-26-10 04:53 AM by FrenchieCat
can't stop a leak and didn't know it was coming,
So the message for November is that big government Sucks Ass!

And with that, perhaps we should revisit this small government idea,
since it is obvious to anyone looking that big government
doesn't seem to know what in the hell it is doing...
can't even stop a fucking leak with all of the resources (boats and Marines and shit)
that it has at its disposal!

Five fucking long ass weeks, and look at this shit! It's getting worse!

Look, this President has been in office nearly 18 months, and that is long enough
to not only have saved us from a depression, reformed health care insurance laws,
dealt with wars and domestic bombing attempts, managed Haiti's disaster relief, uped our mileage capabilities, pass financial reform, saved the auto industry, and nominate 2 SCOTUS nominees....

but also by now, he should have reformed immigration, nationalized the Banks, saved people's homes, fixed what's wrong with education, legalized marijuana, given us single payer, housed the homeless, given all who needed it a job with a living wages, saved the states economy, made peace on earth, gotten rid of DADT and DOMA, made marriage legal for all, reversed NAFTA, arrested and convicted Bush and Cheney, passed an energy bill that outlawed offshore drilling (asshole!), brought the Pope in for questioning, fired every career bushy inserted inside the vastness of big governmental agencies, and pounded on the table to show his emotions!

And the curious thing is, Teabaggers agree with the sentiment of "Government sucks" wholeheartily!
Sarah Palin and Rand Paul and them also believe that Government ain't worth shit,
In particular, this government, i.e., this administration.

It will be interesting to see if in November,
If more voters will feel that way too,
since the line being pushed by all quarters now (here, the media, and elsewhere like FR)
is that not only is Pres. Obama not worth shit, but big government ain't either.
After all, Obama's had ample time to undo all of the shit done by Bush,
and he simply didn't move fast enough on enough fucked up fronts!

Plus he didn't take advantage of the Bullhorn, and you know that's some weak ass gutless shit!

After all, Chernobyl was a big government owned and ran Nuclear facility and looked how that turned out!

2. I don't think there is a way to stop it.
Edited on Wed May-26-10 05:29 AM by AllentownJake
Two analogies I like to use.

1) I can go out and fuck everything in creation without using a condom and find out I have an STD. I know why I have an STD doesn't mean I can cure it.

2) My father died of cancer two and a half years ago. He had pancreatic cancer. We had relatives that were mad at everyone from the doctors to my mom because there was no cure for my Dad's cancer. Human nature dictates we think we can fix things and will blame people when we can't.

I have read that once again we are finding the people in charge of watching the hen house were busy watching porn all day. I don't know what is going on in the federal government right now where the employees feel the need to watch hours and hours of pornography instead of working.

We also have a situation of our business culture, where a short term gain (saving money on safety equipment in case something bad happened) over ruled long term consequences.

This entire incident is just a symptom of larger cultural problems in the American society right now. However, unlike the financial crisis, where you can see your 401(k) losing value or understand your house isn't worth as much, you can actually see the results of this cultural cancer washing up on the shores of the gulf region.

The people who run things start taking some personal responsibility on running things or we fade into the dust bin of history as the Soviet Union you mentioned with Chernobyl.

5. and yes the SEC was busy with Porn too
It seems everytime one of these regulatory failures happen, there appears to be a bunch of high paid government regulators sitting around watching porn all day.

7. One point: he doesn't believe that marriage should be legal for all.
He is more of a separate but equal kind of guy.

10. This President is opposed to equal marriage rights. Your spin
does not change that. Obama is anti equality.
To pretend that he favors equality when he does not is wrong. It is an act of bigoted aggression. That is not kosher at all.

11. Passive aggressive attacks on DUers isn't going to help
Obama's die hard supporters' credibility, FC. Particularly given the frequency. Really, it's getting old.

13. I wish I had a bullhorn. OBAMA DOESN'T BELIEVE IN MARRIAGE EQUALITY!
He has stated that he believes marriage is between a man and a woman. :puke:

It amazes me that people who have lived with discrimination have no problem with discrimination against other people.

14. Like Sarah Palin, Obama opposes equal rights because of
his otherwise unpracticed faith. He and Palin agree that God wishes gay people to have no equality. Biden, same thing, Tim Kaine is even in closer agreement with Palin, in that he opposes all family rights for those minorities he and Palin dislike. For their mutual faith, they do this.
We could do some 'greatest quotes from Obama surrogates' here, but we can skip that for today, we all know what Donnie said, and Kirbyjon, and Rick Warren, and Josh DuBois. We all know. You know too. So when you post this intentional lie about Obama's support for equality, you know what you are doing.
