offer". Karl fucking Rove.
He just pulled the who knew what when line.
Now they are saying Democrats are calling for an investigation too, not just Republicans. Bullshit.

2. Based on what law?
Amazing! This is the guy who forced US attorneys to instigate false accusations against Democrats right before elections. The same guy who worked for the guy who committed war crimes through wars of aggression.

3. They keep reciting some code number that they claim is a felony. And they call it a BRIBE. In loud
voices. They are trying to drum it into all their viewers heads.

Something about stones and glass houses come to mind..........

BTW which Democrats are calling for an investigation????? Or is this a "some people say" thing. I'm sure that Fox News actually asked him about that, right? :eyes:

28. I don't know about Weiner
However, it appears that Durbin is just calling for Sestak to clarify his comments and the WH to provide some follow up information. Not a call for investigation per se.

11. That is bullshit, however, the WhiteHouse should just come out and say what happened
Edited on Wed May-26-10 10:33 AM by still_one
instead of being quiet about it. That is actually hurting Sestak by their silence

There is NOTHING wrong with offering someone a job, it is because they are not coming out and telling what happened, the media who is on crack is implying it was some sort of bribe

There IS NO CASE

Just come out and say what happened already

18. I myself think it is a shame that Sestak
won, if he is going to slur and slam Democrats like this. Why in the hell did he even make such a remark. He knew people wouldn't vote for a republican no matter how much they said they were a democrat and Spector had no chance at all to win.

19. 1) They didn't commit any crimes.
2) Fox is literally the only place where people think a crime was committed. Big goddamn surprise.
3) No one except Darrell Issa and a few nutjob Republicans are calling for an investigation.

24. Let's not forget...
...Rove was behind the prosecution of another politician, Don Siegelman. It was a total railroad job, the man was prosecuted for something which (a) was common practice historically and (b) did not benefit him financially. Yet Siegelman was tried and convicted and sent to prison -- making sure they handcuffed him and got a nice photo-op in the process.

When the Obama administration took office, most of us expected his DOJ to look into that case and unravel what went on there.

Nope. Holder's DOJ declined to get involved.

Fast forward to today, where Rove is accusing Obama of something illegal when it is (a) common practice historically and (b) does not benefit him financially.

Do we see a pattern here?

Let's hope it does not hold up. But if Rove is free to spout this nonsense, then the Obama administration's history of appeasement of the rabid right wing has contributed to that. So quelle surprise, the rabid pit bull bites him in the ass. Who could have seen that coming.
