1. No, they don't. They just want to give the appearance they do.

6. My favorite was "Re-elect George Bush"
"He deserves a third try to get it right. Even in baseball you get 3 strikes before you're out"

14. I registered
I live in a republican held district. I agree, here are some real doozies over there! I helped them by voting and from what I saw, the site probably wont' be around to long when the they see which way the comments are going, and how the voting is going on the comments!

3. What is it about the internet that they just don't "get"?
Did they not know they were inviting boatloads of snark?

4. The leadership has nothing, so they are begging for ideas on the internet
Okay, that definitely equals competence.

5. Actually, they aren't interested if they even suspect you're a leftie.
They won't let you register if you live in a Democratic Congressional district. All they're interested in is parrots.

11. well...
I think a lot of people live in GOP districts who are liberals, I do, and I know a lot of others who live in the area also. We used to be very heavy with republicans in my district, still are, but not as bad as it used to be. There seems to be a whole lot of liberals from the city moving over here to retire, and even though McCain won this side of the state in 2008, my county was very close in the vote, closer than I have ever seen it during a presidential race, so we still have hope!

12. The point is, if they want to know "what the American people think,"
they shouldn't be excluding any of them.

9. Classic Thoughts:
1. Nonsence why should we have to learn a second language when we (USA) american have already have a language.

2. I'm sick and tired of government regulation strangling my life. I'm twelve years old and I should be allowed to drive my Dad's pickup, whether I've been drinking or not! And what's with all this "seat-belt" nonsense? It's a free country, dang it!

3. I can believe some of the "ideas" I am reading. Either there are Dems on here trying to come across as Republicans or there are a lot of racist, foolish, and uneducated Republicans out there.

4. I like Rand Paul's idea to allow businesses to have 'whites only' like they used to. You'd have way more people going to them.

5. America needs to show more respect for Ronald Reagan. For example, Washington DC should be Reagan DC, and the Mississippi river should be the Mississippi Reagan.

The hits keep on coming!

13. Fine, here you go Goppers: DO eat the yellow snow. Run with scissors.
Fruits and vegetables are over-rated, bacon chili cheeseburgers are where it's at. Motorcycle helmets are for sissies. Ditto for seat belts. And no matter what ANYONE tells you, Sarah Palin is your best choice for a presidential candidate.
